First Choice Holidays – TVC Campaign
This fun, lighthearted TV spot for First Choice Holidays was set on a quiet suburban cul-de-sac in Hertfordshire. The brief was to find a street that felt real and lived-in—somewhere recognisably British, with warmth, charm, and just the right amount of everyday chaos.
I worked alongside director Patrick Bergh, whose work includes high-profile commercials for brands like HSBC, Volkswagen, and O2, as well as emotive, cinematic storytelling for The Royal British Legion and NHS campaigns. Patrick’s strength lies in combining beautifully composed visuals with human, grounded moments—exactly what this project needed.
His approach brought a relaxed, slice-of-life energy to the shoot. We transformed a row of homes into a playful snapshot of pre-holiday family life: suitcases spilling out of cars, sun hats tossed on garden fences, and front lawns doubling as last-minute packing zones. Each detail was carefully styled to feel authentic yet visually cohesive.
The resulting film captures the universal experience of getting ready for a holiday—equal parts excitement, panic, and laughter—all from the comfort of a typical UK street.
Another great example of how the right real-world location, sensitively adapted, can bring a branded campaign to life without over-staging.
