Working with Director Tom George on See How They Run
One of the highlights of this project was collaborating with Tom George, the visionary director behind See How They Run. Tom’s fresh, witty approach to storytelling brought a modern twist to the classic British whodunit genre. Known for blending sharp humour with suspenseful storytelling, he previously made waves with his critically acclaimed debut feature The End of the F**ing World* (TV series) and the popular comedy series This Country, showcasing his unique ability to balance dark comedy and emotional depth.
What made this project especially remarkable was that it was filmed 100% on location—including many iconic London spots—right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Navigating strict safety protocols and unprecedented challenges, the entire cast and crew pulled together to bring this stylish murder mystery to life without compromising on atmosphere or authenticity.
Tom’s direction was precise yet collaborative—always encouraging creativity while maintaining tight control over tone and pacing. His keen eye for period details and knack for atmospheric tension ensured the film perfectly captured the elegance and intrigue of 1950s London.
Released in 2022, See How They Run is a clever homage to classic murder mysteries, starring Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan, with a twisty plot that keeps audiences guessing.
