Working with Director Rupert Sanders on Sky Sports Butterflies TVC for MJZ London
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Rupert Sanders and MJZ London on Sky Sports Butterflies, a visually striking commercial that aired ahead of the 2018 Premier League season.
The film uses thousands of butterflies as a metaphor for the excitement and anticipation fans feel. We cut to different locations around Britain on the first day of the Premier League season, where butterflies replace the fans, while commentary and stadium sounds build to a thrilling climax.
Rupert Sanders is best known for directing Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and Ghost in the Shell (2017), showcasing his talent for combining stunning visuals with dynamic storytelling. His background in music videos and commercials brings a unique cinematic flair to every project he undertakes.
