Well… the wait is almost over!

After spending much of the past year working as Supervising Location Manager on MobLand Season 2, it’s fantastic to finally see the official teaser trailer released by Paramount+.

The new season premieres exclusively on Paramount+ on 18 September, and judging by the reaction online, fans are more than ready for the Harrigans to return.

The teaser gives just a taste of what’s to come as the Harrigan family teeters on the brink of civil war. With rival gangs sensing weakness and tensions rising from within, Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) once again finds himself trying to hold everything together.

Of course, I can’t say anything about the story (I’d quite like to keep my job!), but after months of filming and countless hours spent finding and securing locations, it’s incredibly rewarding to finally see the first footage released.

It’s also funny watching a two-minute teaser knowing just how much work sits behind every single shot. Months of planning… hundreds of locations considered… endless phone calls… early starts… late finishes… and yes, probably enough coffee to keep a small café in business!

Seeing the excitement from fans today has been brilliant. The comments are full of people saying they “can’t wait”, calling Tom Hardy the heart of the show, and counting down the days until September. After being part of the production, it’s great to see that anticipation building.

For me, it’s been another unforgettable chapter in what has now been nearly 30 years working in the film and television industry, and I’m incredibly proud to have played my part in bringing Season 2 to the screen.

Now the countdown really begins…

MobLand Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on 18 September.
